Veerapen has proved that music is indeed timeless with "Pictures". It's been over ten years and yet Veerapen's music has still been full of joy and yet mysterious. Considered to be the premier jazz pianist in Malaysia, Veerapen plays smooth jazz in the standard fashion with no ethnic or local influences. At times, he can sound like the Rippingtons and other times feeling just like nature's song. Even though this CD is well over ten years old, it has never been forgotten. Well recommended for listening!
