Former pop culture sensation and American Idol finalist has made a huge jump from the pop world to test the waters in the jazz comfort zone. Comfort zone as it may seem isn't the typical type of smooth jazz albums found in smooth jazz circles. Covering several original tunes from jazz greats, Justin makes an impressible entrance to sing in the jazz standard. Catching the smooth audience might prove to be a challenge though. Recommended tracks are "Night And Day" and "Sing". In "Night And Day", Justin brings his dance-pop background to vocal jazz with a beatbox introduction. His soulful ways come out to play in "Sing", but still sung in the traditional jazz/broadway vibe. Taste a little of Justin's new direction on CIM Radio.
