Yeah I am late to the game, but Jin is the best thing that's ever happened to the Hip Hop world. Talking about a true Asian invasion baby! Why is he better than the hottest rappers out there, because he's got pride and more importantly pride in where he comes from, China. Cause the truth is, it doesn't matter how good you are at anything, if you don't acknowledge or appreciate your culture (namely Chinese culture), no one's got respect for you. Even more so, Jin makes a bold statement that he is Chinese and not a black rapper wannabe, now that's ma man right there. Amazingly, Jin freestyles better than most black rappers in television contests and really does the Asian community proud like Yao Ming. In terms of pure content from a non-racial stand point, this album shines like gold when compared to all the other Hip Hop CDs, again not only because he's Chinese, but the fact that Jin does not speak about sex, drugs and what not. He ain't gangster like most rappers, but when provoked, I am sure he can be just as bad if not more. "Learn Chinese" is a song that truly speaks the state of the world today. Ya'll gonna be turned into Chinese lovers. His combat song against the jocks at Hot 97 "Fuck The Tsunami Song" is proof enough. If you're even slightly into Hip Hop, this is the definite gold album to check out. But seriously, this CD should top Eminem's sales cause whoever said he could rap? Not I. Recommended tracks: "Learn Chinese" and "Thank You".
