This album is another one of those treasures. I am proud and excited to introduce this brand new artist who I must say blows just like the legend himself. The man I am talking about is of course none other than Kenny G, and IGOR does a flawless job in emulating all of Kenny G's famous techniques (repeating notes and sustaining them) including song styles. However, just like most smooth jazz artists, his work still has more fire and uses occasional overdubs on the saxophone. His work so far has been described as romantic, smooth, silky and melodic, which made him one of the best smooth jazz artists in Australia. Igor has been playing the saxophone since junior in high school and after graduation, began playing professionally along with Russian pop star Irina Ponarovskaya. After weekly national TV appearances with many Russian artists, IGOR became a household name, and is now most recognized in Australia, Russia and some significant areas in the Asia-Pacific region. If you are a big fan of the saxophone and particularly smooth, angel-like music, then make sure this CD is a part of your collection.
