Big variety, live instruments but staying true to the essence of that is smooth jazz. If you're a big fan of Pat Metheny then Atmos Trio's music will feel right at home. Although not as complicated as Pat Metheny's work, Atmos Trio does the job well to blend into the popular radio industry format. As the name suggests, Atmos Trio is a three men live band consisting of Rob Michael (guitars), Jeff Obee (basses), Joe Shotwell (drums and percussions). Although under represented in jazz, Atmos Trio's playing is as professional as any other big name jazz players out there. All in all, this album is absolutely worth it for fans of smooth but fast paced action jazz works. Hear Atmos Trio only on CIM Radio.
