Review
As with his most recent album, Andrew Oh never ceases to impress on his debut album back in 1997. I actually spoke with him on the phone, and the man has a surprisingly heavy Australian accent, even though he was originally from Singapore. Nevertheless, I could hear the man's story expressed through his passion and emotions as demonstrated on this CD. This debut album is a bit more upbeat than his next one, but regardless, his saxophone signature is still present throughout. Though the only problem, however, Andrew Oh is vastly underexposed even in smooth jazz and deserves much more than what he gets now. Hopefully this review and the others will launch his career here in the states and back in Australia. As for this CD... you bet, it's a winner.
