Review
This CD is uniquely different in that the main focus is the style produced on a traditional Japanese Shamisen. This is sort of like where the classical meets the modern flavor. Seriously, have you ever heard the Shamisen played like a J-Pop singer? In fact, this album is more than just that. Agatsuma blends new age and even jazz into the composition, making it one of the most diversified CD in the world. Beams is a combination of trance and rock fused perfectly with the Shamisen. Solitude goes back to the traditional style of music in which the instrument is normally associated with. The track that most represents our musical taste is Grooving. Overall, you'll definitely appreciate the diversity that this album has to offer. And we can't stress it enough, this CD is awesomely COOL!
